Vintage Super 8 Films

Your wedding day, preserved like a warm and fuzzy memory.

Why Super 8?

Simply put, there is nothing like it.

Going against the grain of our fast-paced digital age, we have found that Super 8 holds a unique sentimental charm, just like the home movies of our childhood. This form of vintage, analog documentation holds the power to preserve your most significant memories with simplicity and authenticity. Super 8 film allows everyone involved—the filmmakers and the couples—to embrace the present, without the need for polish and perfection. The real and raw moments are cinematically captured with a touch of whimsy and warmth that digital videos cannot replicate. The result: a nostalgic, timeless work of art uniquely personal to you.

It would be our honor to capture your special day on Super 8.

Let’s create magic that can not only be seen, but felt.

Jeanne & David

Santa Barbara, CA

Jeanne & David’s day was like a dream. Relaxed, authentic, and simply beautiful.

They got ready at the Steward Hotel and had a sweet first look there. Then we headed over to the Ellwood Bluffs and walked through the trail to the cliffside, where David’s sister officiated their ceremony. With the serene and vast coastline surrounding them, they exchanged vows. Tears were shed and laughter filled the air. The ocean breeze, waves, and the two of them committing to a lifetime together.

My husband Erik filmed with Super 8 while I photographed their elopement with digital and film photography. We worked together to edit and produce the final video, and I hope that you can feel the love while watching it.
